| Alumni Honor Scholarship |
|
The Alumni Honor Scholarship supports either an incoming freshman or continuing senior who is involved in extra curricular activities. The recipient must be a dependent or spouse of a Cal Poly alum. |
| Cal Poly Alumni Association Central California Chapter Scholarship |
|
The Cal Poly Alumni Association Central California Chapter has established three scholarships; the Rita B. Hill Memorial Scholarship supports first time freshmen students from the Kings, Tulare, and Fresno counties. The Eugene C. Groppetti Memorial Scholarship and the George Watte Memorial Scholarship support students from the Kings, Tulare, and Fresno counties who demonstrate leadership skills and involvement in activities. |

The Cal Poly Alumni, Greater Monterey Bay Chapter Scholarship supports sophomore, junior, or senior students who are high school graduates from Monterey, Santa Cruz, or San Benito counties and show evidence of extracurricular activities, community betterment, club participation and student leadership. |

| Cal Poly Women's Club Scholarship |

The Cal Poly Women's Club Scholarship supports students involved in activities related to their major, Cal Poly, and/or the community with preference given to Cal Poly Women's Club relatives. |

| Courtney Elizabeth Smyth Memorial Scholarship |

The Courtney Elizabeth Smyth Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Courtney who was a business administration major who posthumously received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration after she committed suicide in May 1999. The scholarship recognizes students who have experienced personal hardship and overcome adversity. |
| CPAA Bay Area Scholarship |

The CPAA Bay Area Scholarship is funded through the Bay Area Alumni Association and supports sophomore, junior and senior students from the San Francisco bay area. |
| David Stewart Memorial Award |
|
The David Stewart Memorial Award was established in memory of David Stewart, who was an Environmental Engineering student at Cal Poly and an avid water skier. David was unable to obtain his goal of an engineering degree due to lack of financial support, so this scholarship is being established to help those in need reach their educational goals. The award recognizes sophomore, junior and senior students who are active Cal Poly Water Ski Team members. |

The Dr. Shirley H. Walker Scholarship supports students who have demonstrated a commitment to women's equality issues through serving as a leader in organizations which have the primary purpose of promoting women's rights politically, economically and socially. |

| Enrique Jimenez Memorial Orientation Award |

The Enrique Jimenez Memorial Orientation Award was established in honor of Enrique who passed away during WOW Week in a drowning accident. The award provides funding to a student to attend WOW Week who might otherwise not be able to afford to attend. |
| Erica Gafner Memorial Scholarship |
|
The Erica Gafner Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Erica Gafner, a Cuesta College transfer student, who passed away at the age of 22 years. Erica was a Political Science major at Cal Poly. The scholarship supports students who have demonstrated an interest in social justice issues and US labor history with preference to those who intend on teaching high school. |

| Floyd O. Hicks Scholarship |

The Floyd O. Hicks Scholarship supports first time freshmen by providing full fees or tuition for the first two years and 50% of fees or tuition for the second two years of enrollment provided the recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA. |
| Ford Motor Company Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Scholarship |

The Ford Motor Company Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Scholarship supports undergraduate students enrolled at Cal Poly with preference to Ford Motor Company employees, their spouses and children. |
| Glenn H. Robinson Memorial Scholarship |
|
The Glenn H. Robinson Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Glenn who passed away on January 3, 2002 at the age of 92. Glenn served in the Army-Air Corp of the United States from 1943 to 1946. During his service in World War II, Glen flew a Curtiss C-46 Commando over the dangerous “hump” over the Himalayas between India and China. After an honorable discharge, the Robinsons moved to Southern California where Glenn was involved in Real Estate Development. This scholarship supports first time freshmen or transfer students from Allan Hancock College or Cuesta College who are from Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties. |

| Ian McMillan Memorial Scholarship in Environmental Activism |

The Ian McMillan Memorial Scholarship in Environmental Activism was established in memory of Ian who passed away of congestive heart failure in 1991 at the age of 85. Throughout his lifetime, he was an advocate for land conservation and native protection. The scholarship supports upper division students who have demonstrated their concern for Earth through some recognizable form of environmental or political activism while at Cal Poly. |
| J.W. Van Dyke Memorial Scholarship |

The J.W. Van Dyke Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of J.W. who passed away September 13, 1939. The scholarship gives preference to supporting undergraduates of active, retired, or deceased BP employees with ten or more years of company service. The trustees may, however, from time to time chose another qualified candidate who shows good academic records and character. |

The Mary Stuart Rogers Foundation Scholarship supports junior, senior and credential students with preference to those who have demonstrated a sincere commitment to their personal growth and exhibit evidence of community service and leadership to their fellow students and community. Preference will be given to students who have graduated from a high school in Stanislaus County. |

The scholarship supports an outstanding resident or community advisor for outstanding performance, commitment to personal development, academics, multicultural issues, service, education and making the most of the residence life experience. |

The Rita B. Hill Memorial Scholarship was established by James Hill in memory of his wife Rita who was involved in a fatal car accident in 2001. Rita graduated from Cal Poly in 1971 with a degree in SOCS and was actively involved in the Cal Poly Alumni Association, serving as the Regional vice President for the Central Valley chapter. The Scholarship supports freshman students from Kings and Tulare Counties. |
