Student Philanthropy Council
Sustain Your Legacy at Cal Poly.
The Student Philanthropy Council is a student-led effort created to develop a culture of philanthropy among Cal Poly students and to promote an appreciation of the impact that private donations make at Cal Poly.
Members of the Student Philanthropy Council will:
- connect with industry professionals, influential donors, and alumni
- receive mentoring from foundation and alumni board members, and friends of the University
- develop practical career and presentation skills
- build your resume and gain valuable experience in marketing, public relations, design, and fundraising
- work with and learn from university professionals in fundraising, public relations, management, and marketing
- broaden your contacts with students, staff, alumni, and business and community leaders
