Student Philanthropy Council
Sustain Your Legacy at Cal Poly.
The Student Philanthropy Council is a student-led effort created to develop a culture of philanthropy among Cal Poly students and to promote an appreciation of the impact that private donations make at Cal Poly. As one of its first goals, the Council is reinstating the tradition of a Senior Class Gift.
Members of the Student Philanthropy Council will:
- Educate and raise awareness among fellow students about the importance of philanthropy at Cal Poly
- Partner with alumni, foundation board members, donors and friends
- Work closely with the fundraising team to experience first-hand why donors give to Cal Poly
