Scholarships provide recognition and financial assistance to deserving Cal Poly students.  The Special Gifts Office is available to assist you with any question you have regarding how to create or contribute to a scholarship.

Anne Harris joined Cal Poly in August 2006.  As Director of Special Gifts, Anne is responsible for securing private support for special projects that represent funding priorities for the entire campus, including fundraising goals established by the Board of Directors of the Cal Poly Foundation.  Anne has served the CSU system for more than eight years.  Prior to coming to Cal Poly, Anne served as the assistant vice president for development at CSU Stanislaus, where she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Allie Jones became the first Scholarship Coordinator for Cal Poly in October 2006.  Allie is charged with helping to establish and administer scholarships, awards and endowments for the University.  Allie came to Cal Poly from Children’s Hospital Central California in Fresno, where she worked as the foundation representative for major and planned gifts.  Allie holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of San Diego.
