In talking with alumni, it’s been amazing to realize how their stories have come together to shape the version of Cal Poly that I know today. We have a computer science building on campus named after Frank E. Pilling, who graduated in 1950. One of the most memorable conversations I’ve had was with an alumnus who told me he used to ride bikes around campus with Mr. Pilling.
