Cal Poly recognizes and honors its generous donors for their support of the university’s mission and vision — and for continuing to power the Learn by Doing legacy forward.
Gifts from dedicated alumni, parents and friends provide the opportunity for students to grow and develop into the next generation of community and industry leaders — in a hands-on learning environment with passionate faculty.
Through annual support, sustained leadership contributions and legacies left with estate gifts, your commitment inspires the Cal Poly community. To honor the many ways you empower students and shape the future of the university, Cal Poly offers the following recognition.
Green & Gold Society
The Green & Gold Society is Cal Poly's leading lifetime recognition society, designed to honor donors who have invested in the future of the university with cumulative contributions, pledged or paid, totaling $100,000 or more. For updates to existing members' sponsored guest parking information, please email the Office of Donor Relations at [email protected].

1901 Legacy Society
The 1901 Legacy Society was established to recognize the generous individuals who have notified Cal Poly that the university is a beneficiary of a planned gift that they have established. Planned gifts provide vital resources that give Cal Poly its margin of excellence and help keep the Learn by Doing tradition invigorated.

Poly Loyal Society
The Poly Loyal Society honors Cal Poly's most dedicated donors — those who continue to make annual gifts, to any designation and for any amount, consecutively for five or more fiscal years.
Poly Loyal donors are committed to supporting Learn by Doing opportunities for students today, while helping to sustain existing programs, generate innovative new projects and provide the best hands-on learning experiences for the leaders of tomorrow.

The Morros Society
The Morros Society recognizes donors who support Cal Poly’s students, faculty, colleges and programs with annual giving of $1,000 or more. The Morros Society is a community of passionate alumni, parents, family and friends whose collective compassion and generosity makes an impact on the programs that continue to serve students every year.

Parent Philanthropy Circle
The Cal Poly Parent Philanthropy Circle is a giving society of parents and family members who donate $25,000 and above with a single gift or pledge to the university. Giving through the Cal Poly Parent Philanthropy Circle can be directed to any area of campus and is tax deductible.
