Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) supports student entrepreneurs across all disciplines.

Through a dozen unique programs, including an Entrepreneurship Minor and Concentration, we help students develop the mindset of an entrepreneur because the world benefits from those who can solve society’s most critical challenges. Since 2010 we have helped students launch 119 businesses that have gone on to solve real-world problems, raise more than $250M in capital and create hundreds of jobs in California and beyond.

A gift to the CIE’s Summer Accelerator fund empowers our most entrepreneurial students to make their mark on the world. Each summer, through a competitive process, our student-entrepreneurs have the opportunity to build their businesses with the support of faculty, staff and dozens of alumni mentors. Your support may just lead to the next life-saving medical device or wildfire prevention technology. What you can be sure of is that your support will allow our most driven students to pursue their dreams and change the world in the process.
